Chalkboard Lina

Reflection: Project 1 Chalkboard

Chalkboard Reflection

For this project we were supposed to make our own DIY chalk board paint and then apply the paint onto the wood we measured and cut out ourselfs.

We made it on the wood because we were not given the permission to draw on the library wall we needed to get wood. After we got the wood and measured it we cut the wood and all the boarders we made our own chalk board paint and painted the board.

To make the DIY chalk paint we used this ingredients:

In conclusion I think we did a really good job and Im very happy with our results, because this is our final product. I completed this this Project with Emily.

We just Started to writing a Song.

New Our Music Program: FL Studio 12

For now, we are using Fl Studio Demo version. Because we didn't get the program yet.
But I am trying to get that program soon as possible.

First, There was lots of Plug-ins in FL-Studio(But its Demo) to make better sound and put some awesome effects on it. After that I downloaded some sample loops, beats and instruments sounds.

This is the Plug-ins that i'm using now, but those Plug-ins are only for pro ver. and Demo ver.
(30 days). I am trying to buy cheaper one that is 99 US Dollar. Because Pro ver. is so expensive. And the 99 Dollar one is just only program. No plug-ins. No Effects. No Instruments. Just empty program. But I found a free plug-ins instead Basic Plug-ins. In the website that I found, their was 500 free plug-ins.

Enrique Explores the Wonders of Arduino

During the last month, I (Enrique) have been exploring how the Arduino works and its uses. An Arduino is a small microprocessor that is used to teach electronics and circuits to beginners. This is a link to the Arduino website. My original purpose was to get comfortable with electronics, as well as the Arduino programming language. Over time, this small time filer has become my main project in the class. My process of investigation is listed bellow:

Project 1:
Source
In Project 1, I mainly started to learn how the Arduino works and how to program it. I used the information on the Arduino Website. I downloaded the IDE (image to the left) used to program in Arduino and got the materials I needed ready, such as a cable to connect the Arduino to the computer, breadboard, jumper cables, etc.

Project 2:
In Project 2, I was ready to build my first circuit with the breadboard. I was able to make a simple circuit that lit an LED. It didn't require any programming and was very simple. Next, I tried to program the Arduino t make the LED blink; I used this tutorial, except that I used a breadboard.

Project 3:
*Original image taken by me*
In Project 3, I learned how to use buttons and how to use a button with this tutorial. With this project in particular, I leaned a little bit more about how to use a breadboard and how inputs work with the Arduino. I had some issued with the sensitivity of the button and the LED blinking radically at times, but overall, the project was a success.

Project 4:
In Project 4, I learned how to use a potentiometer to change the intensity of an LED. I used this tutorial, but I used a breadboard. This project helped me understand the difference between a Digital Pin and an Analog Pin, and when to use each.

Projects to Come:
  • Make an RGB LED Change color every second
  • Create my first Sketch from scratch to make a potentiometer change the color of an RGB LED.
  • Learn how to use motors
  • Make a remote control with an IR Controler (Tutorial)
  • Build a robot!
**This post is late due to Week Without Walls and my absence, not due to laziness**

Chalkboard Reflection

Chalkboard Reflection

For our project we made a DIY chalkboard. I looked up the ingredients to make DIY chalk paint and Mr.Koss bought the wood for us to paint. We then found the wood outside and cut it according to the measurements, painted it white, and nailed it onto the chalkboard.

The materials that we used to make the Chalkboard were Plaster of Paris,Latex Paint, and water to make the Chalk paint and then pieces of wood, white paint, and a piece of chalk. The way that I  got this idea because I think drawing on chalkboards and painting is really fun so I wanted to make a chalkboard and Lina helped me make it. We only made one chalkboard but we did a lots of layers of paint.

This is what the chalkboard looked like before we put the white border around it. We wrote down the names of all the people in the class on the chalkboard.

Im really happy with how the final product turned out!  SHOUTOUT TO LINUCHSKI THANKS LINA
